AveryDennison is a printing company specializing in apparel hangtags. Initial responsibilities included support and development of applications on an IBM System 36. Managed the upgrade and conversion to IBM AS400 which included configuration setup, data conversion and application load. Also responsible for hardware support and operating system upgrades.Provided support in conversion of data from AS400 to Progress database and Syteline application. Took training classes in Progress to to take over support of the Syteline application and the Progress database. After management changes, there was a global initiative to migrate systems to Oracle. Locally, I provide support to the Oracle Implementation Team to assist with data extracts from Progress. After the conversion was completed, I joined the Oracle Implementation Team providing data integration support for other Avery locations around the world. Later, I was reassigned to the Data and Application Support team where I provided development support to Avery locations worldwide. I also provided support and administration from Lotus Notes as well as developed and supported custom applications with Lotus Domino. Skills include RPGIII, RPGIV, CL, DDS, and Subfiles, Progress, PL/SQL, T-SQL and Crystal Reports

Also included support for IBM System 36 which included backups as well as upgrades to the operating system. Also assisted in system conversion from System 36 to AS400. Software systems were written in both RPGIII and RPGIV.
