Tom Severini is the founder and Director of Slate, a video production agency with a focus on producing high-end corporate videos for notable clients such as Dell, Microsoft, Amazon, SunPower, and Airbnb. Throughout his 15+ years of creative directing experience Tom has assembled a team of creatives with a shared passion for storytelling whose expertise ranges from talented cinematographers and producers to meticulous designers, writers, and editors. Slate is based out of Naples, FL with video production crews conveniently located in located in NYC, LA and Seattle.Tom’s interest in film started at an early age. Growing up around a father who owned a photo studio, he could always be found by his side. He graduated in 2002 with a BFA in Communications from Parsons School of Design. He trained under advertising legends Martin Solomon and Bob Gill, designing for Sony, Agency.com, Mark Ecko, HSN and Lipton. As a creative director for various agencies he has won over 40 awards including a Webby Award and a Webby Honoree for the production of a national television commercial campaign.His interest in high-end fashion and creative design led Tom to co-found two companies, Batch and KARV.
