Designed and implemented general ledger chart of accounts, intercompany accounting processes, and accounting and business policies utilized for eight legal entities and seven operating units.• Designed global cash management process to ensure timely and cost effective intra-company settlements and concentration of funds. Avoided the need to leverage $50MM debt facility.• Led design efforts for long-range financial forecast model used for annual valuation of company and determination of stock price.• Developed landed cost model for merchandising team to utilize for new category launches, vendor changes, and product profitability optimization.

My responsibilities included overseeing the accounting of the Company’s various receivables and related reserves and managing the review and approval of issuances and cancellations of retailer stock, notes and loans. I also used my spreadsheet modeling capabilities to design a financial model of dividend distribution scenarios to support the CFO’s strategic capital structure planning.For a special Retail Operations project, I partnered with that team to design the approval and funding processes for a $10MM retail store improvement loan program and during the execution of the program, determined loan candidate eligibility and approved loans based on retailer financial health.
