Responsible for permit-related activities of reviewing construction-related plans, specifications, and activities to ensure the MAPS facility (Non-Stockpile chemical weapons destruction facility) and the ACANF (Stockpile chemical weapons destruction facility for Mustard agent) met permit requirements.

Directly monitored food sanitation, water quality analysis, entomological surveillance, insect and animal borne disease control, field sanitation, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation protection, and environmental health & safety compliance programs for over 2,700 Soldiers and Civilians assigned to the MFO throughout the Sinai Peninsula. Responsible for inspection and monitoring the health of Soldiers and Civilians, located at 32 remote sites and two major camps throughout 4,500 kilometers of harsh desert terrain and along the Gulf of Aqaba. Served as the Environmental Health & Safety Consultant to the Force Commander & Staff and Contingent Battalion Commanders in areas of heat injury prevention, entomology & surveillance, health hazard assessments, risk management & safety, and public health.
