Took over as interim following dispute among family members. Assignment lasted 3X longer than expected as we resolved not only family issues, but IRS issues, product liabilty suits, new pricing model. Completely rebuilt retailer relationships, product line strategy and sales force responsibilities and compensation. Serious attention to product material and labor cost arrested escalations. Profit improvements followed all of this accordingly.

Founder of start-up based upon MIT technology/Patents and Harvard Medical School clinical data. Raised five rounds of private and venture capital, built technical, regulatory, production and marketing teams. Recruited internationally known clinical investigators who conducted trials in US, Italy and Japan. Launched product in Europe and Japan. And, changed light bulbs, washed the dishes and just about everything else that needed to be done if it kept the engineers working on the hardware-software!

Repositioned product from experimental to best practice in hands of orthopedic surgeons, introduced first portable product using then state of the art marketing techniques for both surgeons and public awareness. Built professional marketing team to support excellent sales team.
