Since my healthcare software company (SA Ignite), which I founded and led, was acquired in 2019, I have advised digital health and other technology startups, co-led 2 healthcare innovation accelerators, and served as a strategic advisor or board member for 3 healthcare non-profits. I am focused on supporting both non-profit and commercial enterprised focused on elevating the equality of health, wellness, and the general pursuit of happiness. As a leader, I thrive as a player-coach in organizations presented with substantial opportunities for growth, while needing to navigate ambiguities and “build the airplane while flying it.” I enjoy rolling-up my sleeves as needed to do the hard work, while finding the greatest joy in empowering and developing mission-driven and impassioned people. My experience as an entrepreneur, advisor, and leader spans all aspects of building teams, innovating to grow new revenue opportunities, and addressing the needs and desires of key stakeholders, such as board members, executive leadership, and influencers inside and outside the organization.
