Columbus was global holding company Dentsu's digital marketing arm in Australia, prior to their internal re-alignment/rebrand to iProspect. My role included:• Lead search manager of the Columbus Agency's WA portfolio including clients: Alinta, Lotterywest, Cash Converters, Vocus, UWA, Perth Festival & Crown Perth.• Innovated upon existing search framework introducing various optimisation and agile management techniques.• Oversaw double digit YoY portfolio growth.

BirdBrain (now Distl) has been one of Perth's highest growth digital agencies in the past 5 years. My period there coincided with a 3x scaling of the marketing team and the agency achieving organic SEO domination of the market. My role included:• SEM department growth: Managed agency search portfolio from Google Partner to Premier Partner status. Coinciding with doubling of average retainer value and total managed media spend. Drove department growth through a combination of SEO & local SEO strategies that resulted in a 15x rise in organic traffic over a 12 month period.• In-house SEM specialist: Built SEM service model around automation, attribution & insight. Service diversification into display, re-marketing, video and comparison shopping engines. CTR avg growth from 3.5% to 8%+ across search.• Internal BirdBrain digital team: Strengthened BirdBrain's main lead channel through various innovative SEO, Local SEO & CRO strategies. Lead team service model development in semantics and assisted in further innovating domain authority building strategies. The team oversaw 3x year-on-year organic audience growth, boosting organic visibility across SEO, AdWords, E-commerce, Apps and Web Development categories in this period and established BirdBrain as the market leader amongst Perth agencies in organic rankings.• Digital account manager: Managed a portfolio of (at peak) 40 SEM & SEO clients.
