Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on staff assistance visits to Air Force installations worldwide. As DAF Utilities GeoBase Program Manager (GS-1370-13), serves as the subject matter expert on utilities linear segmentation, asset management principles, and utilities GIS applications. Interfaces with clients and customers at tactical, operational, and strategic, levels of the Air Force Enterprise. Manages the DAF Utilities GeoBase GIS Program and Utilities Enterprise Sustainment Management System Program, and creates and develops GIS products used throughout the USAF. Trains installation personnel in asset management principals and applications through installation visits and through presentations at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Calibrates installation civil engineering data collection and standardizes processes, and reviews requirements, data, and scope for projects above $5 million competitive for centralized funding. Federal employment is reinforced with prior experience as a contractor for the USAF and Navy, in municipal government, in private sector, and academically. Possesses a Master's of Science in GIS from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor's of Science in Geomatics from Northern Michigan University. Enrolled in USAF Air War College with an expected completion date of August 2026.

Starting in May of 2017, I began work as a Engineering Aide for the City of Marquette's Engineering division. My position was funded as part of the Storm-water, Asset Management, and Waste-water (SAW) Grant. Duties for this position included using a Trimble R8s reciever and TSC3 data collector to take topo points of municipal infrastructure. This position also entailed using ArcPAD on a Lieca tablet to edit and update attributes while performing quality assessments of subsurface infrastructure. Duties also included driving a city vehicle, using proper safety procedures, and interacting with the public in a professional manner.

I have assisted students with GIS coursework that utilized many different toolsets.I have also been commissioned by Northern Michigan University to create maps. The projects I have been commissioned to create include a map of protected lands in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for the Beaumier Alumni Center, and a glacial features map for Dr. Robert Regis to present with his research at the American Association of Geographers convention. Creating the glacial features map involved digitizing geological data from hand-drawn maps, georeferencing maps, setting topologies, and using many other tools.
