This all started in 1961, when my grandfather, Cliff, decided he wanted to help people manage their money. He was one of the first advisors in North Dakota, founding the Piper Jaffray office in Downtown Fargo.Fast forward to 1992, my father, Roger, took over. He brought me onboard 2013 to continue our family’s tradition and buy the practice.Life was good, it was easy.I, from the outside looking in, had it all. An easy schedule, freedom, money, status. But something was missing.I saw the writing on the wall, *people* wanted something different. And I looked inside myself and thought, this isn’t it. So, in August 2020, I quit. I left a high paying job with Dan (my co-pilot) to make something new. We launched Fjell in the ashes of the pandemic. And what we found fascinated me. It was electric. We found our generation banging on our doors. Wondering if we would help them. So we built Scale. The results?Changed lives and hundreds of thousands of people who hear our message every year.
