With over 20 years of experience in the design sector, I am passionate about using design methodologies to support innovation processes, business model innovation, and human-centered design. I am currently the lead co-innovation and design coordinator at Flanders District of Creativity (Flanders DC), where I work on a programme that unlocks the innovation potential of companies and governments in partnership with designers and other key ecosystem stakeholders. I also stay on top of the latest trends and developments in the design sector and ensure that our actions are in line with them. I am driven by the mission of making entrepreneurial Flanders more creative and creative Flanders more entrepreneurial, and I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.As the project manager of design and co-creation at Flanders DC, I was responsible for advising, coaching, and facilitating starting and growing businesses in the creative industries in Flanders, with a focus on the design sector. I developed and implemented methodologies and tools for co-innovation projects, both at the regional and EU level, and leveraged my expertise and interest in design thinking, business model design, workshop facilitation, and strategy. I also collaborated with other project managers, partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes and impact.
