I am an engineer supporting vehicle dynamics work for our NASCAR teams. As an analyst, I work with tire data and models to represent tires on the race track and how they fit into the bigger picture of full-vehicle performance. To this end, I also support driver-in-loop simulation.As a software developer, I am the senior lead in my group. I spearhead new projects and guide and mentor junior developers.

I worked primarily in support of the three premiere NASCAR series, with a focus on tire performance testing and modeling. This included planning and on-site direction of force & moment testing, as well as software development.Furthermore, I was involved in high performance OEM testing and development, particularly in the area of track testing and instrumented data analysis. This ranged from direct support at the track working with test drivers, to developing software and tool sets for objectively assessing tire/vehicle performance.

- Overviewed all major vehicle design engineering, materials selection, FEA, manufacturing, trackside engineering and team management- Ensured critical competition deadlines were achieved- Modeled dynamic suspension and tire force systems, sourcing damper curves and Pacejka tire data- Wired sensor looms for MoTeC data acquisition system- Senior machinist, including CNC programming, machine setup and operation, and metrology- Senior welder, including TIG welding critical frame, suspension, fuel and oil system components in mild, alloy, and stainless steels as well as aluminum

- Performed chassis setup and checks on all major systems (suspension, brakes, wheel assembly, powertrain, etc)- Redesigned hub and wheel assembly for 50+ % reduction in material cost, tooling, and manufacture time- Machined majority of critical vehicle components by manual and CNC milling and turning- Performed complete website redesign and promotional art

- Tracked critical flight hardware through design to manufacture and integration with full QC system- Programmed, set up, and ran 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC milling machines- Manufactured prototype and production components using manual and CNC mills and lathes- Assembled flight-qualified space life science research payloads- Revised and updated technical drawings relevant to components for space life science research payloads
