The Central NJ Homeschool Bands 2003-2007 (Founding Director / Conductor / Composer and Arranger) The Central New Jersey Homeschool Bands were offered to area home-schooled musicians, to provide an opportunity for creative group interaction with other musicians in an instrumental ensemble. The bands are available to student musicians who play woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. The bands were modeled after many of the area’s junior and senior high school concert bands and explored contrasting secular and sacred styles of music. The objective was to provide an enjoyably rewarding musical environment that enhances the educational and musical growth of each student musician. Tom arranges all of the band music based on how each of the students is at various levels.
