Led and directed a staff of 21 employees in managing all aspects of procuring raw materials used in the brewing process including rough rice, milled rice, corn, corn grits, hops, dextrose, silica gel, DE, enzymes, specialty products and flavorings with a $515 million annual budget; oversaw market analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting and logistics.• Directed the Hedge Center for all agricultural commodities used to brew A-B beers, and managed overall administration and operation of the Raw Materials Department.• Negotiated long-term supply agreements with hop dealers and growers at prices 75% below market prices, which resulted in savings to the company of approximately $300 million over the life of the contracts.• Managed risk by using derivatives, long-term supply agreements, flat price & basis contracts, and open market purchases with frequent interaction and presentations to Senior Management on hedging strategies and to ensure compliance.

Served on Board of Directors and as Company Officer from 1993 to 2008.• Oversaw Financial areas in Strategic Planning, M&A, Budgets, Control and Forecasting, Functional areas in IT, Human Resources, Engineering, Safety & Training, Environmental, and Operations areas including full P&L responsibility for 3 company-owned malt plants. Generated $500M in annual sales; managed $600M of assets & $15M annual capital budget.
