I am a psychologist currently working in the mental health sector in Norway, handling assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric conditions. Prior experience include working as a Senior Advisor with a non-profit organisation providing services for the deaf, hearing impaired and deafblind. Prior to this, I have also been working within the Norwegian Child Protection sector. Further, I am a clinical psychologist by training with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Australia, and have 10+ years of experience within social pedagogy, clinical assessments, behaviour management, counselling, coaching and consulting. In addition I also have a background in marketing and sales, customer service and management, and public relations. My approach to work is a collaborative and consultative one, and those who have worked alongside me would describe me as solution-oriented and analytical, as well as empathetic and trustworthy. These qualities make me a strong team-member and facilitator of collaborative discussion, which creates unity in decision making and agreement in actions to pursue. In my more direct clinical work, I strive to facilitate the client in their journey of self-discovery and problem-solving towards a lasting change in both thoughts and behaviour. I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, friends, or just other interesting and like-minded professionals.
