Job Duties / Responsibilities:Safety – Develop and maintain our strong safety culture for the office and field employees. Complete all onboarding and training. Facilitate and conduct training daily, monthly, and annually. Develop and maintain all safety manuals, JHA’s and JSA’s, and policies for JBCCO. Choose proper PPE, purchase, and maintain proper inventories for our employees.Insurance – Handle all claims as they happen. Establish and control all investigations as too cause. Defend the company as needed to mitigate costs. Oversee all auto, injury, and GL, and W/C if needed. Train the employees thru root cause analysis to not repeat the issues in the future.Legal – Handle and facilitate all issues that become legal and work with counsel to the end of the issues.DOT / Fleet – Develop, and maintain, the fleet and DOT programs to insure compliance with all state and federal regulations.Locates – Log in all locates needed on the Texas 811 system and make sure we have our weekly updates. Distribute the locates to our foremen.OSHA – work with OSHA thru quarterly meetings to maintain a good working relationship and presence for JBCCO.Develop Crew of the Quarter and Crew of the Year programs and make sure all employees are getting better with their safety and performance records.Tech – Tech go between for data updates and iPad / iPhone updates with the field employees. Develop more safety documents and manuals for iPad field use. HCSS use, development, and training for the field.Training – OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Electrical Hazard Awareness, Safety Officer, Forklift Operation, Gas Clip Monitor Trainer and Service Tech, Reasonable Suspicion, Speed Shore and GME training, Defensive Driving, Smith Systems DOT Compliance, many train the trainer courses. Trainer – CPT, CS, CPR First Aid, Flagger, Gas Monitors, ShoringAWARDS – NUCA Safety Record of the Year for 2014, 2016, and 2017 for our company. NUCA Safety Professional of the year 2015.

Handled daily operations and sales management functions of two branches of a $4B construction equipment rental company; led 12-member team and managed a $4M budget.Created growth strategies, developed budgets/forecasts, controlled costs/inventories, and managed P&L.Improved inventory control by introducing monthly inventory counts that facilitated improved tracking and reporting; reduced loss and elevated customer sales due to correct on-hand inventory.Served on a committee that enhanced the sales meeting process by creating a discussion topic workbook that covered clients, sales goals, and best practices; lifted efficiency, sales accountability, and revenue as a result.
