I help CEOs and senior executives of young and startup technology and life science companies resolve strategic and internal challenges to build healthy businesses by being a change agent and using people and organizational skills I developed as a social worker. My toolkit includes coaching and training in effective communications, leadership, team building, listening skills, emotional intelligence, with the goal of developing leadership mindsets to promote productivity and engagement, encourage collaboration and lead change, and promote civility in the workplace. For 10+ years, while based in Moscow, Russia, I advised large companies in technology and manufacturing on business strategy, strategic communications and stakeholder outreach strategies in Europe and in Eurasia. Following that, I co-founded a boutique corporate relations consulting firm that served international businesses active in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Earlier in my career, I founded a public affairs and political campaign consulting firm in the United States. I currently mentor startup companies through the Maryland Tech Council’s Venture Mentoring Service (VMS), serve on the VMS' Management Committee, and was named VMS' Mentor of the Year in 2019.
