In the private sector in restructuring projects on behalf of banks as well as a consultant for companies in strategic change management and crisis situations. In June 2017 I was elected representative of private clients into the members' council of Rabobank Flevoland. Until the moment we moved out of the Flevoland region to Zwolle I represented the interests of private clients. As a strong supporter of effective decentralized organizations, I was able to support the local character of the bank and focus on maintaining the unique local market position Rabobank has with its membership structure.

At its yard in the Netherlands, AMELS has built 60 large superyachts from its highly successful Limited Editions range up to 83 meters in length, as well as AMELS Full Custom yachts. In addition to its new build activities, AMELS Refit provides bespoke service and complex refit projects for even the largest superyachts afloat. In 2018 AMELS celebrates 100 years of its brand. AMELS is part of the Dutch family-owned Damen Shipyards Group, one of the world's largest and most successful shipbuilders.As interim Financial Director, I was responsible for the merge of two product groups in the Damen Group and forming the new Damen Yachting Division. Damen Yachting was setup as an example for the structure that was implemented from 2019 onwards for the Group. After completing this task I was asked to take over the CFO position at Group level.
