Tom Umphreys joined Dickinson & Clark CPAs, PC in 2002, and became a shareholder in 2005. Tom is currently the managing shareholder. He is a CPA and a life-long resident of the Council Bluffs area. Tom has over 30 years of combined experience in corporate and public accounting.Tom’s corporate experience spanned seven years with two multi-national companies in accounting, consolidated financial reporting, federal compliance filings and corporate acquisition due diligence.In addition to serving individual tax clients, Tom has broad tax and accounting experience working with businesses in construction, manufacturing, distribution, retail and medical practices. He also provides CFO consulting services for business owners that need an experienced professional to come alongside to equip them to help their companies be more successful.Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He is a member of the American Society of CPAs and Iowa Societies of CPAs. Tom is actively involved with his family and serving at First Christian Church in Council Bluffs.
