Responsible for Planning and Control processes and team of 11 MRP controllers in a manufacturing plant with £70m annual sales and diverse product portfolio. I led the development and implementation of output plans with the integrated plant team, and ensured delivery on time in full.Key accountabilities include all supply chain input to the plant, inventory management, commitment acceptance with customers, and physical logistics within from raw material arrival to final despatch.Reduced arrears from 288 across most Rolls-Royce engine build programmes through to zero in 1 year, alongside a reduction in inventory by 25%, and reduction of transport costs by 85% (annualised savings of £0.5m).

Improved the engagement with the Rolls-Royce Sales and Operations Planning processes from the external supply chain, from 56% response to 90%.Improved ERP compliance in the supply chain unit on key items such demand/supply alignment through roll out of governance processes, resulting in £9m excess inventory reduction and 4% delivery improvement.

Led a team of 26 through the development of a site Integrated Logistics Centre, implementing visual factory standards, standard operating procedures and standardised roles/training to decrease goods receipting from 1 week to 1 shift. Service level achievement increased to >90% from ~10%.Set up governance for transport costs resulting in annualised savings of £100k.

Set up controlled launch area, managing WIP levels and ensuring just in time production. Managed load and capacity planning in cell, including bottleneck management and the development of a detailed forward forecast system.Line side consignment stocking system developed, approved and implemented, with 1 week lead time improvement.Rolled out standardised site transport system to ensure service levels agreed and met.Overall turn around time achievement levels doubled and output increased by 50%.
