Currently managing the Advanced Learner Loans facility, for which EMD UK LTD have successfully secured a prime contract with the Skills Funding Agency. Previously managed the SFA/ESF Work Place Learning contract and the SFA/ESF Skills Support for the Workforce (Response) contract. EMD UK hold subcontracts with Calderdale College and Leeds City College for project delivery in Yorkshire and Humber, North West, North East, East Midlands and West Midlands and delivery across Leeds City Region (LEP area). The projects support the delivery of vocational qualifications at levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 with an aim to encourage the progression of individuals, in a range of subject areas, to employed status individuals, fully funded at no cost to the employer.

Working on The Skills Enhancement Fund.• Ensure training provider subcontracts are delivered in line with contracted targets and outputs are met• Working individually and also as part of a team in order to deliver the Skills Enhancement Fund project in order to help businesses within the Yorkshire and Humber region access available funding to be used to train employees and up skill the region’s work force. • Monitor the performance of individual training provider subcontracts within the project against contracted targets• Assisting delivering training providers in collating documentation to support project achievements• Reviewing and continuously improve procedures for the effective monitoring of the project• Ensuring all projects are delivered in line with European Social Fund, Yorkshire Forward and Skills Funding Agency funding regulations • Ensuring all aspects of projects delivered by providers are done so in line with individual contractual agreements• To complete monthly audits on subcontracts prior to submitting funding claims to the Skills Funding Agency• Chairing meetings with contract holders to discuss project delivery and overcome any issues that may arise• To maintain and update all subcontract information on college systems and funding body databases• Personally manage all subcontracts that are funded through the Yorkshire Forward area of the Skills Enhancement Fund• Maintain awareness of current developments within the fund and update individual contract holders with information as well as providing specialist funding expertise including paperwork requirements and eligibility to apply for funding• Build relationships from scratch between different training providers and employers in order to build the Skills Enhancement Fund’s network and increase awareness of the project• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Education and Training sector along with knowledge of funding opportunities.
