Tom Wimsatt, CPA, Financial Advisor/Registered Representative, is the founder, President and Chief Investment Officer of Renaissance Capital Management, Inc., headquartered in Florence, Kentucky. His firm, since its inception (originally Wimsatt Financial, Inc.) in 1998, has been rooted in providing financial education, financial planning and investment advisory services for families and businesses. Tom graduated from Regis University with a BS in Accounting. At the age of 24, Tom completed examination and experience requirements to be earn Certified Public Accounting licensure (40 years+, Ugh!). Tom always says, “In business, the smartest thing I ever did was, as a very young man, become a CPA. The second smartest was to decide that my practice and passion as a CPA financial professional would encompass investment advisory and comprehensive financial planning for businesses and families.” That said, Tom knows that the analytical traits of a CPA are brought to bear daily in the research and analysis he provides daily to his clients.Tom lives in the Greater Cincinnati area, -in Union, Kentucky with his wife of 30 years, Andrea.
