Following the successful turn around of the company the task has been to pursue FSN’s original growth plans.It has been an incredible journey, starting with a company in distress and on the edge of bankruptcy, to today where Gram Equipment is the leading supplier of advanced equipment and services for the global industrial ice production.Proud of what we as a team have achieved together. From the start of our journey in 2018, when Gram Equipment was in a very difficult position, we have navigated a tough turn- around, faced the challenges of Covid, global supply chain disruptions, the war in Ukraine/Russia, and recently soaring inflation and interest rates.Despite these many challenges, Gram Equipment's financial performance has continuously improved over the years and with the last couple of years being historically high both on top and bottom lines, achieving an organic growth of more than 75% over the period.After many years of commuting long distance between home and work, it was time to get closer to the family and therefore resigned from my position in Gram. -
Group CfoGram Equipment A/S Mar 2018 - Dec 2018Kolding, Southern Jutland, DkBeginning of 2018 Gram Equipment was acquired by FSN Capital, a leading Northern European private equity investment company focused on the middle market segment. In connection with the takeover FSN Capital was negatively surprise on both performance and shape of Gram Equipment. I was approached and asked to step in as the CFO.Member of the Executive Board, being responsible for Finance & Accounting and IT.The task was to “Fix the Basics” across the organization including Finance and IT in order to become ready to execute FSN’s original expansion plans. For Finance and IT, this included: • Enhancing team work and skills • Establishing closing procedures and liquidity forecasting • Introducing reliable project and KPI reporting • Setting up a Treasury function • Adding working capital guidelines to free up cash for business turnaround • Managing the IT infrastructure/ERP environment • Implementing structured resource prioritization and aligning IT projects with GE’s priorities. -

New Management Team successfully implemented and completed an extensive turnaround of the Group with significant earnings improvement. Turnaround included: Closing activities in South America and Asia and adjusting organisation to reduce fixed costs. Completing successful rights issue which gave renewed financial strength to optimize and develop activities.Improving product & customer profitability through implementation of Activity Based Costing valuation model.Implemented risk management programme in Group which lead to savings of around 50% in insurance costs. Hartmann was also awarded the Danish Society of Financial Analysts’ Information Award (’Information Diploma 2008’) for an open and transparent communication about the turnaround in annual and interim reports in the dialogue with investors and analysts. -

Redesigning production layout/principle in new plant with the purpose of optimizing the efficiency of new plant and reducing manning with approx. 40 people.Management Team succesfully in 2005 renegotiating a new 3 year collective agreement.Key role in setting the future Strategy for Hartmann in North AmericaCleaning up the Balance Sheet for the North American Group with 3 entities Implement reporting and controlling routines leading to more faster, accurate, timely and reliable Management Reporting.
