Work closely with Business Owners / Chief Financial Officers / Human Resource Managers in many business environments including Healthcare, Heavy / Light Manufacturing / Property Management/ Food Service and Construction with their insurance and risk management concerns.As a "trusted advisor," my goals are to help them understand the coverages available in the marketplace and how and why they may consider transferring that risk to a carrier at competitive prices. I like to spend time with the management team to better understand the operation, their business and market challenges and strategic goals. This allows me to see how the different departments interact, what are their policy and procedures for handling claims, do they have an up to date safety program, a written return to work policy, a business continuation plan and their willingness to take on risks etc.etc..I share with them my experiences on how they might improve or makes changes that will be more effective for them and the organization. Many of these changes will have an immediate impact on conserving time now and in the future and reduce costs, including insurance costs.Have completed 6 of 8 parts of CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and working to finish.Various Claim/ Claim Adjusting Courses including GAB Property Adjusting School in Colorado
