My detailed knowledge across the full asset lifecycle from bidding and acquisition through delivery, operational ramp-up and performance optimisation to steady state, refinancing and divestment to secondary market is complemented by the proven ability to deliver strong returns on portfolios of infrastructure assets.In my role as Director for John Laing in Sydney I originated and negotiated key transactions, improved investment performance in the infrastructure asset portfolio, drove capital recycling through profitable divestments, negotiated financing and refinancing for major projects and helped guide investment companies to strong performance through Board roles.My strong technical skill set is informed by early roles as a Bank Analyst and financial modeller, and my knowledge of the infrastructure market spans a decade in London and eight years here in Sydney. I have established a deep network of relationships with senior stakeholders in government, industrials, co-investors, banks and professional advisers. I have a strong understanding of the market today in Australasia, across renewable energy, transport and other infrastructure assets, and leverage long experience in the timely delivery of large, complex projects, navigating the sometimes-conflicting agendas of multiple stakeholders. As a Board Chair and Board Director, I have ensured investment companies deliver best practice in governance and have played a central role in delivering wider ESG priorities across the John Laing portfolio.
