I am a contract and commercial manager at Accenture currently working for some of the biggest telco clients in Australia. I work alongside commercial, sales and project teams and collaborate with clients across their business, procurement, and legal divisions. From pre-award to contract completion, my key role is to devise flexible business solutions that will help meet legal/policy requirements and sales targets. This involves leveraging contract expertise and commercial acumen to manage contract and delivery risk and grow profitability by helping sell profitable work.

As a Contract Specialist I continue performing the activities I performed as a Senior Analyst (see below) but I also perform the following tasks:(i) Coordination and supervision of the team providing services to the Products clients: assignment of contract reviews, quality assurance reviews for the members of the team (currently consisting of 6 people) and review and negotiation of the more complex contracts. Coaching, mentoring, training and supervising other members of the team.(ii) Communication with both internal and external clients, stakeholders and deal teams on various legal and commercial issues relating to the provision of services by Accenture.(iii) Assisting local coordinators and supervisors with the recruitment process.

(i) Full time member of the Transaction Contracting Team within the Legal Global Service Center (LGCS) providing legal support to Legal Professionals and Business Teams mainly in the US and Canada, leading negotiations with internal and external clients, and providing any legal support needed in different accounts where I act as the Legal Account Lead.(ii) Providing extensive legal support reviewing different contractual/binding agreements (RFP's, Proposals, NDA's, Statements of Work, Change Orders, Subcontracts, Teaming Agreements, Local Country Agreements, Software License Agreements, Master/Consulting Services Agreement, etc) for different geographies, including North America (US and Canada)(iii) Performing direct interaction with Legal Services professionals and Business Teams in contracts and proposals reviews, including drafting of memorandums assessing potential legal risks, redline of complex agreements.(iv) Interaction with Legal Professionals and members of the commercial teams to address business requirements and provide the proper legal framework by helping balance risk and reward in the relationship with clients in a timely fashion.(v) Coordination and supervision of local Transactional Contracting Members that provide legal support to clients in the Products industry located in US and Canada by managing and coordinating day-to-day work according to internal client's needs and team member skills and experience.
