Responsible for coordinating all activities of the consultant in the phase of the construction of the five-star hotels, Basra Sport City Hotel and Shatt Al Arab Hotel, both, in Basra – Iraq, (turnkey contract) The built up area are 28.500 m2, $ 63 MM and 35.500 m2, $81 MM respectively. The responsibilities include as part of the main activities, the control of budget and physical progress of the project with Primavera P6, generation of graphs of activity ratios, curve S, estimation of the final figures of the project (cost and time), control and tracking over the contractor schedule. Supervising the team in charge of the quality control, assurance of quality of Architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical works. Responsible for the payment generations of the project, supervising the team to check work quantities of each speciality and dealing with contractors to determine the quantities to be paid (quantity surveying responsibilities). In the same way, supervising the HSE department in order to enforce the contractor for observance the HSE plan. Also, managing the relationship with the client (Ministry of Youth and Sport) by meetings and various progress reports for the projects.

Responsible for the physical execution of the works for the main contractor, managing the budget of the projects from 5,5 M to 0,2 M Euros (financial responsibilities) and monitoring along with the HSE Manager the safety plan of infrastructure and some oil & gas projects. Carrying out the formulation and further implementation of the project strategy execution, development and maintenance of project schedules with software tools (Primavera P6 or MSProject). Accountable for contract administration of subcontractors and clients, managing all related with payments (measurement, negotiation, calculation of EOT and Variation Order, etc). Execution of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects for the Venezuelan state company in the oil & gas industry. Assuming responsibilities in various phases of the execution of projects like: development of engineering design, site inspection and coordination and control of contractors, quantity surveying responsibilities, and HSE activities.
