During more than a decade, I went through positions and job descriptions like electrical circuit design, sales, project management, a software developer for robotics, building software manager, head of the software department, in addition to my main activity, PLC programmer.As the production lines and machines became more and more sophisticated, with additional requirements to data management, traceability, efficient changes, etc., which was too demanding for PLC environment, I had to extend the technologies used, by PC technologies as the databases, networks, web-services, etc.My most characteristic feature is laziness. As I had the possibility to automate the automation as the software developer for building automation for all MTS buildings, it helped my laziness to grow to the monstrous proportions. From automatical gate opening based on car plate number to wakeup computers based on the system of the attendance, to automate sunblinds based on the actual position of the sun and it's intensity, to starting the coffee machine when the first programmer enter the building to get warmed-up.So over the years of working at MTS, my work philosophy has crystallized: Never do things twice, rather make a tool that does it to you.
