As a Marketing & Communications Specialist at the Library of Midden-Brabant, I play a versatile role within the Marketing & Communications department that aims to increasing the involvement of local residents with the library. With enthusiasm and expertise, I ensure that people of all backgrounds and educational levels can find their way to the public library. Together with my team, we have an important social responsibility to fulfil, and I am happy to contribute to this important task. My responsibilities include creating content for various communication channels, managing and improving the website, managing Google Ads/Grants, collecting and analysing data on performance, and providing photography services. In addition, I lead the communication around a number of specific annual campaigns. I am proud of my work for the Library because we make a positive impact on our society.

As a marketer at the renowned Galaxy Studios Group in Mol, Belgium, I was responsible for all marketing efforts and supported various sales teams. This encompassed several companies, including Galaxy Studios (post-production facilities and music studios), Mollywood (film financing), and Zilvermeer Productions (film production). My diverse responsibilities included content creation, social media management, graphic design, SEO, website management, financial reporting, and market research.During my time at Galaxy Studios Group, I also evaluated film ideas and assessed film scripts, which allowed me to discover my passion for writing and story structures. Today, I proudly call myself a storyteller. It was a fantastic experience to be part of a team that created such high-quality productions.

As a freelance photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing a wide range of events and seeing my work published in numerous magazines and newspapers. This experience has allowed me to hone my skills and expand my repertoire to include graphic and web design.Sadly, I had to make the tough decision to discontinue my freelance commercial work due to time constraints and other obligations. Nevertheless, I continue to apply my photography skills in my current role and remain deeply passionate about it as a hobby.

During my studies, I worked at an inventory agency called Intelco. In addition to performing my duties as an inventory clerk, I also served as a driver for my colleagues, as the work was carried out at various locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. Later on, I was given the responsibility of guiding and training new employees.

I had the privilege of growing up in the hospitality industry, as both my parents and grandparents owned restaurants and motels. From a young age, I was fully immersed in our family business and took on a range of responsibilities, from serving customers at the bar and performing administrative tasks to developing marketing strategies and warmly welcoming guests. Being part of this family enterprise taught me the value of hard work and exceptional service.

During my internship at the IT department of Atos Origin, I gained a wealth of experience in relation to computer technology and operating systems. In this role, I was responsible for various tasks, including installing new computer systems and resolving both software and hardware-related problems. Through this experience, I not only further developed my technical skills but also strengthened my problem-solving ability.
