Define and implement Enterprise Architecture processes, information models, and tooling.• Define and implement reference and solution architecture processes• Meta model definition from business strategy concepts to implementation and deployment based on TOGAF v9 and ArchiMate v3• Triggered by an internal audit, aligned architecture processes and tooling with FDA requirements• Support the Philips Legal department with the introduction of Global Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) by analyzing which processes, and applications use and/or process EU citizen information.

Define and implement Enterprise Architecture processes, information models, and tooling.• Migration of the ArchiMate 2 based Meta model used in ARIS application architecture models, to the Alfabet Meta model. This enabled us to make the Application Lifecycle Management functionality and content available again to stakeholders in Alfabet 6 months after the migration project started.• Training of application, and infrastructure architects (>30 global)• Addition of Business Capability modeling and storing gap-analysis results in the architecture tooling for documenting strategic goals• Addition of Technology Portfolio Governance functionality for documenting preferred solutions in the areas of application and infrastructure technology

Definition of an internet strategy (Power-of-Digital), and Marketing Excellence reference architecture for supporting the online marketing-, sales-, and support- processes.• Definition, implementation and deployment of the Marketing Excellence Reference Architecture in collaboration with Philips and Capgemini architects. As part of the creation process we used the TOGAF v9 Architecture Development Methodology. My role in this collaboration was Lead Architect Digital for Philips.• The reference architecture has been used for guiding and monitoring the Marketing Content Management, and Marketing Automation (web, mobile, and social channels) programs in Philips Lighting and Healthcare B2B context.• Developed an Enterprise Architecture way-of-working and modeling approach, based on business capability concepts.

Define, implement and deploy a globally oriented internet architecture (52 countries/languages) for the online marketing-, sales-, and support-activities at Philips Consumer Lifestyle. • Guiding a team of application and infrastructure architects (<10)• Define, implement, and deploy the online store application architecture and processes for the Global Philips Flagship Store. My contribution was to drive for, and guard, a consistent implementation of the flagship store architecture across the various teams (Content Management, e-commerce, Support, Delivery, and Finance).• Define an internet information model and internet reference architecture in collaboration with the internet architect of Philips HealthCare.

Started as an application engineer working on the implementation, and the maintenance of the shop floor control system for the 200mm diffusion factory MOS4YOU. Evolved into the role of Senior IT architect with an international scope.
