Education and leadership has been a critical component of my life since I graduated college in 2014. It is a personal and intentional motive of mine to inspire and educate youth. I have had the esteemed opportunities to teach science grades 3-8th, tutor, mentor and develop children ages 8-16. My fervent passion and enthusiastic delivery suite me well when creating relationships and spawning active engagement with my scholars. I have been a middle school science teacher for 2.5 years both in charter and public schools with the Houston Independent School District, coached football, mentored boys, tutored science, math and reading for over 3 years (3-9th grd). I plan to use every avenue of the educational sector to brand and polish my craft, skills, and professionalism.
