I hold two master’s degrees obtained from a joint program between Singapore University of Technology and Design and Chang Gung University, specialising in nano-electronic engineering and design. My thesis focused on the fabrication of Gallium Arsenide based lasers.I also hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Newcastle University where I graduated with First Class Honours. My Final Year Project work on density reduction of deep level traps in InGaN LED won me an award in an industrial innovation competition. Before my postgraduate education, I was a Research Assistant at the Singapore University of Technology & Design. In this role, I was actively involved in the fabrication of laser devices and vertical integration of semiconductor chips using wafer bonding techniques. Currently, I am a patent attorney trainee at Spruson & Ferguson which I am mainly involved in the drafting and prosecution of both local and overseas patent applications.
