Experienced insurance professional with more than 20 years in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry. That experience includes working in the many sectors of insurance from personal lines to business insurance across both independent and exclusive agent channels specifically in an independent agency, E &S Brokerage, as well as being employed on the company side operating in both small and middle markets. Throughout my many years in the industry, the skills I've developed have helped to make me a success in my current role as an Underwriting Manager where I’ve further sharpened such skills as strategic planning/thinking, flexibility, influence, problem solving, and decisiveness while making sure invest in others.As a leader, recognizing and developing talent is critical to any organization’s success. As an active member of Farmer’s Diversity Equity Inclusion & Belonging Group, working towards the company’s desire to create a more diverse employee base of high performing individuals has been rewarding. This same passion for talent development extends into my personal life in areas of volunteerism with local nonprofit organization (mentoring) and with my local church having facilitated leadership courses. As an accomplished distance runner, the determination and perseverance used to perform is seen in my day to day as I use that talent to consistently seeks out ways to drive both profit and growth results and improve agent experience.
