Having trained as a paediatric nurse way back in 1995, I have over 12 years experience working in children's hospitals and on children's wards. I have worked with babies and premature babies, medical care, neurological, special needs and oncology. I have since worked as a teaching assistant, pre school practitioner and dementia care in own homes. My hope is to return to nursing once my boys are both well into secondary school education, but this is very dependant on my son with autism.
