 Provide superior member service with financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable items.  Serve as a role model, mentor and training resource for tellers.  Provide supervisory support to Tellers on transactions, check approvals, encouragement and coaching. Assist managers with coordinating daily duties and responsibilities in the teller center in order to most effectively utilize staff and resources while enhancing the member experience.  Resolve member requests and problems by either resolving them personally or facilitating resolution through the appropriate employee or department. Follow-up to ensure member satisfaction with the resolution. Assist manager in opening and closing the teller center during the week/weekends. In addition, help managers optimize teller center operations that will ensure an effective work environment. Monitor and track daily reporting including productivity results, losses and errors. Multi-tasking and utilizing multiple software systems, phone calls, multiple monitors, and audio/video technology.

 Received and processed member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing. Provided routine information concerning products and services. Recognizing opportunities where our products and services may be beneficial for members and referring them to other departments and employees when appropriate Assisted in resolving member issues and concerns.  Responsible for meeting minimum productivity and accuracy goals designed to meet high performance expectations within a high call volume call center environment. Maintained ongoing communication with Managers, informing them of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes, and other important information within area of responsibility.

• Perform transactions such as check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, cashier checks and cash advances accurately and efficiently in the banking center and/or in the drive up, based on established regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.• Assist with various functions such as: open and closing procedures, balancing daily work in accordance with established policies and procedures, assisting customers wishing to access their safe deposit boxes and balancing ATM, filling the teller cash dispenser and/or vault.• Deepen and retain customer relationships by providing information about our core products.

• Conduct patient/guarantor interviews for all inpatient, outpatients and emergency care registrations • Obtain demographics and financial data and enter in the Star System. • Verify appropriate accounts; ensure validity of financial information and identify appropriate payor source for Third Party Billing. • Determine estimated patient financial responsibility through verified insurance benefits, co-pays and deductibles.
