With over 10 years of diverse experience in strategic planning, research, public health communication, and health equity, I am proud of the work I have done to help organizations tackle complex communication challenges. I am also deeply committed to social justice initiatives evidenced by my work in and out of the office. As a former Diversity Champion, I have actively contributed to raising awareness about multiculturalism, intersectionality, and unconscious bias in the workplace. I helped found a community co-op grocery store to reduce food insecurity in my community, and I served on a community advisory board to address health equity issues in southwest Atlanta. I currently serve as an Advisory Board Member for the American Public Health Association's Center for Climate, Health, and Equity.Apart from these activities, I am passionate about driving office culture and employee engagement because I believe a positive and enjoyable work environment is key to building successful teams.
