She partners with campus clients to develop strategies and help translate functional/business requirements into administrative systems database or web-based solutions that support the college’s… Show more Summary The Administrative Systems and Web Development Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining the technology environment that enables Illinois College to utilize administrative, mobile, and web systems for marketing, communications, administrative processes, teaching and learning. She partners with campus clients to develop strategies and help translate functional/business requirements into administrative systems database or web-based solutions that support the college’s overall mission and vision and consults on web development, maintenance, tools, features, site structure, security, usability and accessibility.Essential Functions• Design, maintain, upgrade, support, and organize for ease of use Connect2, Illinois College’s implementation or our ERP system’s web portal, Jenzabar JICS.• Provide web design and support for the IC web site and other campus web sites as assigned.• Build and maintain all new administrative web systems, not limited to but currently including Jenzabar EXi and Izenda for reporting.• Provide primary IT Support for the IC App and associated analytics.• Provide secondary support including upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our Financial Aid and ERP systems, PowerFAIDs and Jenzabar EX.• Provide secondary support for building reports for the campus community in Infomaker.• Provide secondary IT support for the Courseval course evaluation system.Nonessential Functions• Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.• Assist in the smooth operation of IT services, which may require participation in special projects during major events, such as the opening of each semester or commencement.• Advise on technology standards for the entire campus.• Seek professional development opportunities to enhance skills and remain current with evolving technologies.
