Welcome to the home of TH Brown, Since 1911 when the company was founded in Adelaide South Australia by Thomas H Brown, T H Brown has remained one of Australia’s foremost manufacturers of iconic furniture – both Domestic and Commercial.From the 1950’s TH Brown designed many of the most sought after mid-century Scandinavian/Danish furniture pieces ever produced in Australia.Arguably, the most famous designs produced were the iconic range of ‘Swedish” Bar Stools produced from the mid 1950’s through to 1978. These iconic stools were highly successful at the time – and remain the most highly coveted Australian mid-century stools in antique, retro and design studios to this day. These coveted original examples have become heirloom collectibles and are seen in many magazines, exhibitions and design showrooms around the world.We have relaunched the TH Brown brand with the re-release of a a range of these original masterpiece’s, still produced in Adelaide under the direct supervision of the 3rd generation of TH Brown’s family, and hand finished by some of the original craftsmen.Each stool is made and upholstered to order and hand finished to the original specifications and quality standards. Each stool comes with a 10 year Warranty (as TH Brown always had), a Certificate of Authenticity, and features a range of fine leather seat colours and timbers.
