My enthusiasm and passion for Mathematics makes every lesson an enjoyable experience. Exposing students to the exciting world of Mathematics, often implicitly, makes the classroom an engaging arena, with plenty of discussion. Students feel comfortable contributing and questioning as participation is crucial. All questions are good questions. Various learning styles are catered for with a variety of instructional experiences. Individual whiteboards used in every lesson allow the less confident students a vehicle for participation without the spotlight being solely on them.I strive to be a creative, thinking teacher, at the same time instilling traditional morals and values. Having very high standards I expect the same from my students. Helping students develop as confident individuals, not only in their mathematical ability, is an important part of the pastoral care given by myself as a teacher. All pupils have their own special qualities that they can contribute to the school community and beyond.Having lived in Norway, Australia and the UK enables me to bring an extra dimension to the classes that I teach as well as being the mother of two grown-up boys; I have a good understanding of how adolescents operate.
