An art student at heart but a head full of ones and zeros; I did a couple of years of hard code programming and web development but later embarked on a Bachelor of Arts degree, specialising in 3D animation.Having a lot to do in the 'below the line' realm, from 2002, I expanded into the 'through the line' world with Proximity#TTP BBDO, winning both local and international awards. Moving onto Studio4332 / Network BBDO, I was promoted to Creative Director (2011) where I learnt to become a 'Jackette' of all trades, working in fields such as product design, app development, 'above the line', Pecha-kucha speaking and 'master merging' the bridge between traditional advertising and the ever-changing digital world. 16 years later, I am still in Advertising and Communication and love it! I had been with FCB Africa and 1886 (Both are with the Nahana group) for 8 years, of which 6-7 years has been dedicated to Beirsdorf South African and NIVEA Global. I represented NIVEA Africa (Key Account and SA being Key Country) as lead Creative Director, ensuring that local relevance and emotional bonding were adhered to from everything ATL to everything BTL. I was involved with numerous global productions (Stills, social content and TVC shoots) as well as my favourite - working with the international NIVEA team (Agency and client) coming up with global communication solutions for new product launches and innovations.My accolades include several local and international Adverting awards, but winning “FCB Africa’s Change Agent” voted for by the staff has the most special place in my heart as I am a people’s person.Leading and working with a team of talented souls; giving and guiding creative direction on great South African and global brands such as Beirsdorf: NIVEA (Full portfolio); NIVEA Men (Full portfolio); Eucerin, Elastoplast, Labello, Cell C, Vodacom, Steers, Sasfin, Easy Waves (Brand and retail ethic hair care company), Vodacom, Kulula, VISA, Mastercard, Mazda, HP, Europcar, Brightrock, Coca-Cola, Nestlé Cremora, McCain, Lil-lets, Nissan, Virgin Atlantic, Dettol and Twizzer to name a few.Specialties: Art direction of any sort.
