•Assure the development and successful implementation of the Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce multi-year strategic plan centered around a relationship based approach to grow small business•Create a multi-year budget and strategic plan •Create framework for Chamber model of educational classes, networking and advocacy for small business in Kalamazoo County•Experience in management, business ownership and fundraising•Relationship building with existing small business owner Chamber members as well as growing new members•Host, facilitate and execute ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, networking events, annual membership meetings•Engage and manage a volunteer driven Chamber Ambassador committee with business leaders and owners who help engage new and existing members•Hire, develop, coach and engage growing Chamber team consisting of director of membership and college intern•Assure effective communication with Chamber members•Facilitate educational courses in marketing, talent growth, customer experience and social media geared toward small business member owners•Responsible for new member year over year growth of 10% annually

•Partner with Regional Managers in managing the sales and customer service processes in the banking centers in conjunction with the retail banks overall strategies and objectives for 42 branches throughout Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo & Lansing•Provide extensive training in relationship based sales approach, new employee onboarding, complex cash flow analysis, basic customer experience standards •Extensive training and coaching using Gallup EIQ and CIQ to measure both customer feedback and employee engagement•Lead and manage EIQ (employee engagement) and CIQ (customer satisfaction) by building SMART action plans and creating a work environment centered on action plans and execution of plans for 42 branches•Perform customer service and branch appearance standards inspections•Dedicated to banking center growth and overall regional growth•Efficiently and effectively assisted in complex problem solving for clients with high level needs•Held daily quickstarts to educate, inspire, lead and motivate branch team towards goals and objectives
