Under the direction of the EHR Training Supervisor, the EHR Trainer is responsible for preparing, implementing and maintaining training materials and programs based on knowledge of identified training needs, clinic operations, or changes in procedures or services. EHR Trainers possess and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and skill in areas of healthcare applications, technology and/or education as evidenced by experience in providing classroom, virtual and/or on-site training in health information systems.

•Assisting in the review of medical records to highlight Star/HEDIS opportunities for medical staff. Support chart chase process by requesting records from provider's offices as needed.•Review medical records for data collection, data entry, and quality monitoring including health plan/WellMed form submission and chart collection activities that close gaps in care•Partner with the leadership team, practice administrative or clinical staff to identify trends observed and potential strategies to support practice•Performed data collection, data entry, quality monitoring, health plan/WellMed form submission, and chart collection.•Assists with audits and performed all other related duties as assigned•Navigate multiple documentation systems to obtain medical record sections supportive of HEDIS/Star measures
