My role is to help diversify who and how we are connecting and supporting the community throughout the state of Oregon in pursuit of our mission to improve the quality of life and well-being for the people in their communities.

I am still doing all the things listed in my original profile, event planning; managing my organizations professional development workshops and our regularly scheduled networking event and developing messaging to reach our target audiences and building community relationships. I have grown my responsibilities to focus more intently on strategy and community connections; developing community partnerships/relations and focusing on connecting genuinely with "disenfranchised" communities. Along with my regular responsibilities, I have been reading grants for state and county granting bodies; sitting on the METRO government steering committee contributing to the process of creating a new funding program and regularly consulting local entities on outreach, engagement and community building.Most recently I was the assistant Casting Director for a new staged reading to be a part of the 2015 Fertile Ground Festival, Portland, OR; "Alan's Confectionery".My current goals are focused on moving into the event planning/hospitality/tourism industry. And still, always looking for the next big challenge to tackle; thriving best when presented with problem solving situations that require innovation and being quick and calm on my feet.

I managed all aspects of our annual Artists Professional Development Workshop series as well as our bi-monthly creative community networking event. Additionally, I sourced out community events to participate in to help increase our brand identity in the community, continually worked on building community relationships and planned special events for my company.
