USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, announced 22 coaches who have been selected to the 2017-2019 USA Softball Women’s National Team Coaching Pool. Head coaches and assistant coaches for the Women’s National Team (WNT) and Junior Women’s National Team (JWNT) will be selected from this list for all 2017, 2018 and 2019 competitions. Tony Abbatine oversees the mental and visual performance issues for the National Team training for the 2020 Olympics. He hosts on-field and performance workshops for the players and coaching staff. Tony travels with the team for camp and international events.“We are honored to have another outstanding group of coaches making up the USA Softball Women's National Team Coaching Pool,” said USA Softball National Teams Director Chris Sebren. “Their experiences as both players and coaches at the elite level will bring a wealth of knowledge to our National Team Program.
