An accounting professional with over twenty years experience in public sector financial management, I've worked in a diverse variety of organisations within the three tiers of government mainly in a Finance Manager role. I stand by a proven track record in the provision of high quality advice and assistance to senior management and boards as well as developing and implementing improved business processes to enhance service delivery. I'm also actively involved in the Local Government Finance Professionals (Qld) and CPA's Public Sector Committee and Indigenous Committee. I'm passionate about the difference great financial management can make to a community and an organisation so I'm now working with a number of local governments providing assistance in accounting, financial policy and procedure development, budgeting and financial forecasting, reporting, and mentoring of financial services staff.
