Influencing and driving technical knowledge and standards at the highest level. Working directly with customers and the New projects team to allocate, direct and oversee all developments taking briefs of initial concept through to launch. Develop a high performing, well regarded and innovative team of development chemists ensuring Herrco remain at the forefront of the industry.

Managing development projects from concept to realisation of product brief and reformulating for improved textures and improved marketing claim support.Formulating botanical extracts to meet both customer and internal requirements and managing the product development programme for botanical extracts. Initiating, assessing and instigating remedial action for accelerated product stability tests. Advising on pack copy and verifying compliance with EU regulations and UK directives.Meet with customers and suppliers on product development concepts, technical issues and legislative requirements.
