I'm a highly skilled drama and theatre practitioner, trainer, tutor producer, and workshop facilitator specialising in the development and delivery of a range of innovative arts-based programmes and projects to educate and empower socially excluded people and groups throughout europe and increasingly internationally. Check this out..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HszjNgxIvd0&feature=youtu.beDuring my time I have won contracts and created projects and programmes with various voluntary groups, charities and statutory services in health and wellbeing, mental health, social care, criminal justice, education, substance misuse, housing and regeneration, youth services and community development. I make theatre and have planned and delivered numerous workshops in a range of community contexts using improvisation and interactive participatory performance methods. The performances use improvisation in order to discover through spontaneity a different kind of insight into social conflicts and social psychology than might be possible in a scripted piece. My work is focused on behavioural change work, developing pro-social skills, increased self-esteem and greater self-awareness in people at risk. I use tried and tested models of effective practice that work in engaging, motivating and providing opportunities for people to develop new skills as well as discover new ways of behaving and relating to others. I deliver highly skilled sessions on offending behaviour treatment and groupwork programmes: all underpinned by the themes of choice, change and personal responsibility. The unique contribution that my work can make to people’s lives is by:·
