Tony E. Crapp, Sr. holds a Master of Public Affairs with a concentration in Urban & Domestic Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University (1976) and a Bachelor of Arts in Government, cum laude from Harvard University (1974).Mr. Crapp has over thirty-five (35) years of diverse and high quality professional experience in community redevelopment, county/city management and administration, urban and community economic development, business development programming, economic analysis, economic and community planning, affordable housing development and budget and financial management/analysis. Mr. Crapp’s experience includes the planning, design, development and implementation of economic development programs, incentives and strategies to attract new business and investment and to facilitate the expansion and retention of existing business enterprises.Prior to his present position as Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for CMDI Solutions, Mr. Crapp served as the Executive Director of the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency from June 5, 2006 through September 30, 2011. Mr. Crapp served as the President of the National Association for County Community and Economic Development (NACCED) from 10/04-10/05. In addition, from 10/05-06/06, he served as the NACCED Representative to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Counties (NACo) and also served as the Governor-appointed member of the Board of Directors of the City of Miami Downtown Development Authority from 08/02-06/06.At the present time Mr. Crapp is a member of the Board of Directors of MACtown, Inc. and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Downtown Bay Forum.
