Deals directly with AFRC and ANG units on a daily basis to ensure timely, accurate and efficient processing of over 400 manday requests per week. Provides Higher Headquarters with complete detailed histories and accounting of all mandays used and forecasted within each fiscal year. Develops and justifies the annual MPA budget of over $300 million. Expert level mastery of the Command Manday Allocation System software. Excellent command of MS Office automation software, with ability to program MS Access database for complicated queries and reports.Plans and implements directives associated with global airlift/air refueling capability of the Air Reserve Component crews to meet peacetime, contingency, humanitarian and wartime requirements in accordance with national objectives and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) air transportation priority system. Serves as both participant and project leader for complex studies and analyses to more efficiently apply Air Reserve Component (ARC) air mobility assets to rapidly changing strategic environment. Serves as command expert on MPA manday policy and ARC capability. Leads and assists in working groups to resolve problems that are often obscure by nature and global in complexity.Key player in supporting Haitian earthquake relief efforts, enabling critical airlift support of the AF Reserves and Air National Guard.
