Responsible for providing design support in a low level or organizational capacity based on proven ability and experience, from initial concept through completion phases of project. Responsible for design tasks that are limited in scope with vague and incomplete design and schedule requirements. Applications may include analog, RF, digital. Work is done independently drawing on the experience of other resources as needed. Direction is provided by project lead regarding requirements and schedule obligations.Managerial tasks include management of 4 direct reports (3 supervisors with reports of their own, and 1 Support Engineer). Also responsible for managing Capital budget for 7 departments, interfacing with finance and senior directors and vice presidents to budget for and obtain necessary capital equipment for projects within those departments.

Promoted to Director of Operations in May 2013

Supervision of a team of over 100 individuals in a wireless handset repair center. Personnel included Technicians, Mechanical Assemblers and Electronic Assemblers. The service center was a 24 hr. a day 7 day a week operation capable of repairing and/or refurbishing 75,000 units per month.

Completed Fire Control "A" School, and Close in Weapon System (CIWS) "C" School. Assigned to USS Valley Forge (CG50) and worked as CIWS workcenter supervisor, responsible for scheduling maintenance, generating watch schedules, and personnel supervision.
