SQR Systems Ltd are a start-up innovative technology company who has built the only secure mobile and IoT communications platform for both organisations and individuals. They enable organisations to protect their data and build secure products by taking away the pain of regulatory compliance and security assurances. I am completely responsible for the entire finance function of the company and assisting with a Series A round the company is preparing for. My duties include but are not limited to:• Maintaining all the financial records of the business• Preparation of VAT returns• Preparation of unaudited statutory accounts• Preparation of investor forecasts including weighted pipeline to be pitched to prospective investors• Managing Angel investor applications• Budgeting and forecasting for internal purposes• Managing cash flow and preparation of cash forecasts• Payroll duties including P11ds• Preparation of R&D tax claims• Managing R&D Bridging Loan applications• Research and advising on funding including innovation loans and other investments

Global Strategies Group were high security management consultants who provided security in hostile environments including Afghanistan & Iraq. Global Strategies Group are part of a large international Group owned by one UBO. I was solely responsible for the financial and management accounting of 15 entities across the Group which includes the UK, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, Gibraltar, BVI and Cayman Islands. In addition to this I oversaw the accounting of two US entities. Due to a restructure in 2014, the UBO appointed me to take responsibility of his personal assets, investments and tax return. My duties included but were not limited to:• Maintaining all the financial records of 15+ entities within the Group• Management of one accounts assistant• Month/Quarter end procedures including accruals and prepayments• Maintaining intercompany accounts including recharges• Preparation and submission of VAT returns• Assisting auditors with the preparation and analysis of corporation tax returns• Assisting auditors with the preparation of statutory accounts • Preparing year end accounting schedules and assisting Group auditors• Preparation and giving guidance on departmental budgets• Quarterly Budget vs Actual analysis• Maintenance of Group cash and preparation of cash forecasts• Preparation and commentary on quarterly management accounts• Maintaining bank accounts including reconciliations and relationships• Payroll duties including P11ds and other statutory documentation• Maintenance and analysis of fixed term deposits and other investments including shares acquired on the stock market
